We have always loved the casual atmosphere of the Amagansett location, but was so happy when they opened a year round location in Southampton. I have always been a Manhattan Clam Chowder Fan and was blown away the first time I had their Manhattan Seafood Chowder. I would keep going back just for that, but the lobster rolls, both versions are the best. Two of my other favorites are the stuffed flounder and the broiled fisherman's platter. We are bar people (I tend bar in the area) and like to socialize at the bar. The renovation is very clean , but too open and sterile for my taste but the food and service make up for it. It is surprising how few true seafood restaurants there are in the area considering the proximity to the ocean. Long Island Sound and bays , but these two locations of Lunch make up for it.

Lovely server just before close at 4pm. Drinks are drinking lol. Had one on special called the Winter mule. A couple apps to fill the tummy & we have a happy customer. If ever in Sag Harbor, try em out fellow yelpers!

My girls and I went to the Hamptons for an extended weekend and were craving for a good lobster tail. We got 2 lobster rolls to go - hot & classic salad roll. They were everything I've ever wanted in a lobster roll. Absolutely delectable! We ate it after a 10 min car ride at home and it was great, so I could only imagine how it is to eat fresh when dinning in. They didn't do anything absolutely wild and crazy into rolls which I appreciate. The reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the service was horrible and so awkward. We told the host we didn't need to be seated, we just wanted to put a to go order in and he didn't really direct us and was acting all smug. When we finally got to the counter, the women behind the counter were completely ignoring us for a while. Not even giving us eye contact to acknowledge us, they didn't seem busy, and didn't say anything until we said something to them. And then when we were finally able to order they were extremely rude and condescending. Would come again if I never have to interact with them again.

Came here for lunch a few months ago. I like their hot lobster rolls. It comes with chunks of lobster for you to assemble your own sandwich. Lobster bisque is also good, but I didn't like the fish dip I ordered, as it turned out to be a cheesy dip with the flavor profile of a cream and spinach dip (definitely not what I would picture as a fish dip). It's a casual spot for a quick bite.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. So friendly and gave great tips about the menu and the local area. The star of the show was the crab cake sandwich, which was flavorful & heavy on the crab. The lobster tacos were also tasty. The lobster in the taco was great all by itself. The restaurant gives a nice sense of nostalgia with the booth seating and made to order cherry cokes and Shirley temples.

If you've been to the Lobster Roll in Amagansett but don't love the flies and all that nature going on with al fresco dining, this location could be what you're looking for. It's in the old diner with a slight facelift. Very clean and perfect for folks who may not enjoy the picnic atmosphere of the original location. If you're coming to Lunch, then really, you're coming for a Lobster Roll. I got the hot version and it was everything I'd hoped for (I'd never had the hot version before.) This was the perfect choice. Clean and simple. Good lobster. I'm not going to bother reviewing anything else because, why? You shouldn't be coming here for other stuff. Just get what they're known for! LOBSTER! Oh and the fries were good too.

Everything you'd want in a seafood diner. A charming diner with a massive seafood menu and delicious cold lobster roll and bun, packed with fresh lobster, and a comforting cup of tasty clam chowder. Kick butt coleslaw and creamy, frothy chocolate egg cream. Party/bar room with lots of outdoor seating in the back. Only drawback is the price, with the lobster roll alone at $35, but that's the Hamptons for ya. Would still try any of their locations. 5 stars!!!

The lobster roll is the quintessential seaside snack. A true classic never goes out of style. Lobster Roll, affectionately known as "Lunch" thanks to the giant neon sign above the restaurant, is a staple for lunch or dinner if you're hitting the Hamptons. Not much has changed since the roadside stop began in 1965, which means you can expect amazing seafood every time. There are lobster rolls and then there are Lunch lobster rolls. Whether you chose a traditional Cold New England Style Lobster Roll or a Butter Poached Warm Connecticut Style Lobster Roll, these are the best lobster rolls in the Hamptons. A Delicious overflowing roll of locally caught lobster could be my last meal on earth, or maybe just an ideal meal after the beach.

Looks like a diner refurbished. Cozy neighborhood feel inside. Has a bar area as well as counter to eat at. Booths and table seating. We had a booth on a rainy Saturday early evening in March, the place was empty. I'm sure when the weather gets nice again, this place packs out. Great night for soup. The lobster bisque was one of the best I have ever had. Thick with huge pieces of lobster meat. Absolutely delicious! Popcorn shrimp appetizer was yummy but nothing to brag about. Loved the yelp check in free beer or glass of wine. Yes please! Service was slow, which was surprising given all the people working there and lack of customers. I'm not out in this area often, but would definitely come back when I am. The prices are good, especially for Hamptons dining.
